History 

Although its products have been unavailable for customers for 75 years, today the building of the Hungarian subsidiary of the Italian tobacco company is yet again called Modiano. The Art Deco building is being refurbished by Codic as part of a prime real estate development project. During the renovation process, Codic aspires to create a landmark, state-of-the-art office building, restoring the protected façade to its original glory and extending the building with office space which meets today’s requirements.

BUDAPEST’S CENTRE OF COMMERCE

The location is central Budapest’s most significant office agglomeration. Focused around WestEnd City Center, it is the city’s true centre of business. Global giants such as Blackrock, ExxonMobil, Diageo, Jaguar Land Rover, and three of the Big four global accounting firms are located within one metro stop in either direction.

The Váci Corridor’s position as the dominant office destination derives from its synergy between the office and labour pool, facilitated by its transport connections – particularly the ultra-convenient M3 metro line which has a stop right in front of the main entrance of Modiano.  Through such accessibility, Modiano offers unrivaled connectivity to the homes of the city’s young professionals.

OPERATION

Consumption of electricity, heating-cooling and water in the office areas will be measured with sub-meters.

TOUCHLESS ACCESS

In common entryways, elevators and access doors. On tenant’s request: bathroom doors and wet block sanitary equipment.
